Six Basics

SIX BASIC ONE—STEP SPARRING TECHNIQUES

1. ATTACK: Jab

DEFENSE: Parry, jab, front leg front kick.

2. ATTACK: Reverse punch

DEFENSE: High block, reverse punch.

3. ATTACK: Hopping front kick

DEFENSE: Low block (while stepping with the back leg) reverse punch.

4. ATTACK: Back leg front kick

DEFENSE: Low block (while stepping back with front leg) reverse punch.

5. ATTACK: Switch leg round house kick

DEFENSE: Front knife hand block, spin back kick.

6. ATTACK: Reverse punch to the solar plexus

DEFENSE: Block with front forearm, back fist, reverse punch.
